Ogun State reports over 30,000 on HIV/AIDS treatment, aiming to prevent child transmission.

Ogun State's Health Commissioner, Dr. Tomi Coker, reported that 30,350 people, including 2% children, are receiving HIV/AIDS treatment. The state aims to prevent mother-to-child transmission and meet UNAIDS targets for treatment and viral suppression. Nigeria has about 2 million people living with HIV, with 1.6 million in treatment. The focus is on stopping HIV among children and ensuring treatment access.
