Ghana's NACP reports increased HIV mother-to-child transmissions due to insufficient testing and adherence to PMTCT program.

NACP attributes this to inadequate testing and medication adherence by pregnant women. To address the issue, they plan to increase ANC testing coverage, decentralize antiretroviral therapy, and enforce strict infant feeding guidelines to reduce mother-to-child transmission to at least 2%.
