Anambra State, Nigeria, reported 3,138 new HIV cases between January and October 2024, out of 257,953 tested individuals. The Anambra State Aids Control Agency (ANSACA) revealed that 99% of those diagnosed were linked to antiretroviral therapy. The state has also focused on preventing mother-to-child HIV transmission and distributed over a million condoms to promote safe practices.
