Roger Sierra, a 28-year-old from Calgary, is charged with criminal negligence causing death after crashing his pickup truck into a Boston Pizza in Fort McMurray, Alberta, killing 24-year-old employee Emily Verge. Court documents show Sierra's driver's license was medically suspended at the time. Sierra is set to appear in court on December 4.
