TPG Telecom sells fibre and fixed network assets to Vocus for A$5.25 billion.
TPG Telecom, a major Australian telecom operator, is selling its fibre and fixed network assets, including Vision Network, to Vocus for A$5.25 billion ($3.54 billion). The sale includes TPG's enterprise, government, and wholesale fixed business, while TPG retains its mobile and retail services. TPG expects net cash proceeds of A$4.65 to A$4.75 billion for future investments. The sold unit accounted for 18% of TPG's 2022 revenue.
