Philippine's PLDT discusses selling up to 49% of its data center business to Japan's NTT for $750M valuation.

The Philippines' largest telecom group, PLDT, is in talks to sell up to 49% of its data centre business to Japan's Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT), with a potential valuation of $750 million. Proceeds from the sale will be used to cut debt and fund ongoing and new data centre projects. NTT, Japan's largest phone company, has a market value of $99.9 billion. A deal could be reached in the second half of this year.
