Ronald Alfred Fontaine, 74, was arrested for a hit-and-run that resulted in the death of 25-year-old Jamya B. Shanes in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, on Saturday night. Shanes was struck by a dark-colored truck while walking with witnesses. Police found Fontaine’s damaged vehicle shortly after the incident, along with evidence linking him to the crash. He is currently held on charges of leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
