Johnson Jr. captured after fleeing scene where he struck and critically injured a woman with a stolen car.

Gerald Jerome Johnson Jr., 27, was captured after a high-speed chase in Montgomery, Alabama, where he struck a 58-year-old woman with a stolen car, critically injuring her. Johnson fled the scene on foot and is now wanted for assault, attempting to elude, and receiving stolen property. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, along with other agencies, worked to capture him. The injured woman remains in critical condition at Baptist Medical Center South.
