Roland Cherry, a 63-year-old British man, survived a harrowing hippo attack while canoeing on Zambia's Kafue River with his wife, Shirley. The aggressive hippo, protecting its calf, capsized their canoe and dragged Cherry underwater, causing severe injuries, including a 10-inch bite on his abdomen. After extensive medical treatment, he is fundraising for Mtendere Mission Hospital, where he received critical care, expressing gratitude for his survival.
