73-year-old Thomas Gray, from North Fork, Idaho, survived a five-night ordeal in the remote Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness after his boat capsized on May 21st. Stranded near an empty campground and airstrip, Gray's only way out was trekking through the snow-covered terrain with dwindling supplies. His survival story is particularly striking as his brother had died in a similar situation in the same location two years prior during a failed float attempt.
