The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) reports that the misuse of tourist visas by foreign nationals is fueling counterfeit activities at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA1 and KLIA2). Nationals from Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, and others are circumventing the Foreign Workers Centralised Management System. This abuse allows syndicates to operate illegally, paying bribes to officials and charging high fees for unauthorized work permits.
