The Takoma Park Police Department launches a Red Light Camera Enforcement Program on September 23 to enhance traffic safety. For the first 30 days, drivers will receive warnings for red-light violations; after that, a $75 fine will be imposed. The program starts at four intersections, expanding soon. Citations won't affect insurance or driver’s licenses, and payments can be made online or by mail.
