A light aircraft, carrying a pilot and passenger, miraculously avoided severe injuries when it crashed onto a busy road in Gloucestershire, UK. The powered glider stalled and nose-dived onto the A419 near Aston Down Airfield in Frampton Mansell on August 27th, at around 4:45 PM. Both occupants were in shock but not seriously injured; their vehicle's wing was ripped off in the crash. The road was closed in both directions, causing traffic disruptions. Emergency services, including the Great Western Air Ambulance, attended the scene. The air ambulance later stood down after assessing the duo. The crash took place near Aston Down Airfield in Frampton Mansell between Cirencester and Stroud.
