73-year-old glider pilot dies in crash near Petworth, West Sussex; AAIB and Sussex Police investigate.

A glider crashed near Petworth, West Sussex on 5 June, resulting in the death of the 73-year-old pilot, who was the sole occupant. An investigation has commenced by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) with a team of inspectors sent to the accident site to gather evidence. Sussex Police are also present at the scene and are asking witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
