4-seater Piper PA-28 plane crashes near Rochester Airport, pilot sustains minor injuries.

A four-seater Piper PA-28 plane crashed near Rochester Airport in Walderslade, Kent, after departing from Lydd Airport. The pilot was taken to a hospital as a precaution, sustaining only minor injuries. The aircraft, now written off, has been investigated by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch. This is not the first incident near Rochester Airport; two years ago, a plane crashed into woodland after takeoff, leading to a flight suspension.
