35-year-old Adam Ellington, a registered sex offender, has been sentenced to 17-21.5 years in prison for breaking into a 60-year-old woman's home under the influence of THC edibles, assaulting her, and demanding to know the location of her daughter and a gun. The victim, who did not have a daughter, led Ellington to believe the gun was outside and called the police during the incident. Ellington pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, attempted felonious assault, and criminal damaging charges.
