Montreal's Exo transit system will resume commuter services on Monday following a halt due to a labour dispute between Canadian National Railway Co. and Canadian Pacific Kansas City Ltd. The halt affected select commuter lines in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, with 9,300 engineers, conductors, and yard workers locked out during the dispute. Exo will operate an additional dedicated shuttle service to address any potential issues and anticipates congestion on the tracks as operations ramp up.
