Ontario's GO Transit resumes service on Milton GO line and Hamilton GO station after railway labour dispute.

Ontario's GO Transit system will resume service on the Milton GO line and Hamilton GO station on Monday, after a railway labour dispute affecting over 9,000 workers and 30,000 commuters in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver led to a halt in service. The work stoppage by Canada's two major railways, Canadian National Railway Co. and Canadian Pacific Kansas City, was ordered to end following a decision by the Canada Industrial Relations Board, which instructed companies and workers to resume operations before binding arbitration. Metrolinx, responsible for the GO Transit system, will have additional staff and shuttles available during the restoration of normal service, with minor schedule adjustments throughout the day.
