Sikkim CM raises minimum monthly pensions for former MLAs on FLFS 22nd Foundation Day.

Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang increased minimum monthly pensions for former MLAs on the 22nd Foundation Day of FLFS. Single-term MLAs now get Rs 50,000 (up from Rs 22,000), and those with two or more terms receive Rs 55,000 (up from Rs 25,000). The Sikkim govt will also provide an annual grant-in-aid of Rs 20 lakh for emergency and medical needs of ex-legislators.
