NRI Sukhchain Singh shot at by assailants linked to local gang activity and property dispute.
NRI Sukhchain Singh was shot at by two armed assailants at his residence in Daburji village, Amritsar district, Punjab. The attack, captured on CCTV, occurred in front of Singh's family, including minor children, who pleaded with the attackers. Singh suffered critical injuries and was taken to a private hospital. The police suspect the shooting to be linked to local gang activity and a property dispute with Singh's in-laws. The motive behind the crime is still under investigation.
