60-year-old Baba Tarsem Singh, the chief of Nanakmatta Gurudwara Sahib, was shot dead by two unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants in Udham Singh Nagar district, Uttarakhand. The attack occurred at 6:15 am on Thursday, with one attacker firing two bullets at Singh from a rifle before fleeing. Authorities have found CCTV footage of the incident and are trying to identify the attackers, who are believed to be from Punjab. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has ordered a probe into the incident.
