BoJ Governor Ueda links Japan's market volatility to US recession fears and plans to adjust monetary easing.

Bank of Japan (BoJ) Governor Kazuo Ueda stated that recent market volatility was partly due to rising concerns of a US recession. The BoJ raised interest rates in July and will continue to monitor and adjust its monetary easing stance if necessary. The central bank aims to maintain an accommodative monetary condition considering Japan's real interest rates remain deeply negative. If the economy's price outlook is likely to be achieved, the BoJ will adjust its degree of monetary easing, closely monitoring market movements and their impact on the economy and prices.
