Two Kamiya 86 sushi restaurant owners, Hua Yao Ke and Ping Ping Zheng, are facing federal charges for allegedly employing undocumented workers without legal authorization to work in the US. The owners, who run restaurants in Jacksonville Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach, provided the workers with rent-free housing, free transportation, and free food, and paid them in cash without withholding taxes. If convicted, they face a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison.
