RCMP officer Jeffrey Cormier's trial is underway for assaulting an unruly flight passenger at Stephenville Dymond International Airport. A viral video, posted on social media, shows three officers forcibly removing the restrained man from the plane, slamming his head into a police SUV, and pushing him inside. Despite defense arguments against admitting the video as evidence, Judge Rolf Pritchard allowed it to be used in the trial.
