Unruly passenger MacDonald ordered to pay $20k to United Airlines, plead guilty to interfering with flight crew, and face deportation.
An unruly passenger, Alexander Michael Dominic MacDonald, was ordered to pay over $20,000 to United Airlines after causing a disruption on a flight from London to Newark in March. The incident led to the plane being diverted to Bangor, Maine, and MacDonald pleaded guilty to interfering with flight crew members and attendants. In addition to the restitution, he was also ordered to be deported back to England.
