Unruly passenger disrupts WestJet flight, opens exits; restrained by passengers, taken into custody at Terrace Airport.
On May 27, a WestJet flight from Terrace, BC experienced an unruly passenger who was disruptive, failed to remain seated during take-off, showed signs of paranoia, and attempted to open the plane's exits. Passengers restrained the individual until the aircraft returned to Northwest Regional Airport, where local RCMP officers took him into custody. The incident was reported by the Terrace RCMP in a statement issued on May 28.
