An Bord Pleanála has approved the BusConnects plan for Ringsend, which includes a new public transport and cycling bridge connecting Poolbeg peninsula to the city centre. The Ringsend scheme is part of the National Transport Authority's (NTA) plan to overhaul Dublin's bus system with 12 dedicated bus lanes. This marks the seventh core bus corridor to receive approval, with construction expected to commence soon and the route operational within the next few years.
