Dublin unveils €70 million project with new cycle paths and walkways to boost sustainable transport.

Dublin has opened a new €70 million cycle path project, extending 2.7 km from Clontarf Road to Connolly Station. The Clontarf to City Centre Active Travel Project includes 8 km of upgraded walkways, 6.8 km of new cycle lanes, and 5.4 km of improved bus lanes. Despite delays and business disruptions during construction, the project aims to enhance sustainable transportation, improve water infrastructure, and add eight community plazas, aligning with Ireland's environmental goals.
