3-year-old Lachlan Jones was found dead in a sewage oxidation pond in Gore, New Zealand in 2019. His father, Paul Jones, suspects foul play and an ongoing coroner inquest in Invercargill is examining the circumstances. A witness claims she was informed by a friend, Tyler Tremaine, that Lachlan's half-brother, Jonathan Scott, allegedly threw him into the pond. Tremaine denies having such a conversation and Scott denies the claim. The inquest will continue with lawyers summing up the case.
