57-year-old Patrick Jones of Port Vincent was found dead in Livingston Parish after a boating accident. The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries was alerted by Good Samaritans about an unoccupied 16-foot vessel that ran aground; Jones' body was found in the same area. The cause of his ejection from the boat is unknown. The LDWF Enforcement Division is leading the investigation into the deadly incident.
