2-year-old Jacob Reyes drowned in a pond at a family gathering in Lufkin, Texas on Sunday evening. The child was found unresponsive and despite immediate life-saving measures by family and responding officers, he was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Detectives determined the incident to be a tragic accident, with the child possibly chasing a chicken before falling into the water.
