22-year-old ex-NRL player Talatau "Junior" Amone, whose contract was terminated over a previous violent assault, has been released on bail following new assault allegations. Amone is accused of spitting in a woman's face during an argument at the Illawarra Hotel. The case is set to return to court later this month, with bail conditions set, including residing at his Warrawong home, not approaching or contacting the complainant, and complying with an apprehended violence order.
