Johnny Cash will be honored with an 8-foot bronze statue in the U.S. Capitol's Statuary Hall in September, replacing statues of James P. Clarke and Uriah Rose. The House Speaker and Democratic Leader announced the statue addition, with Cash being the first professional musician to be honored in this way. The unveiling ceremony will take place on September 24th in Emancipation Hall, attended by the Cash family, Arkansas Governor Sarah Sanders, and the state's congressional delegation.
