Two new monuments honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. were unveiled in Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, Michigan, aiming to promote unity. Martin Luther King III, Dr. King’s son, emphasized the importance of community and cooperation. The monuments, named "The Mountaintop" and "A Seat at the Table," were funded by over $900,000 raised from 400 donors. Benton Harbor City Commissioners declared November 19 as MLK Unity Day to mark the occasion.
