40-year-old James Antonio Cheeseboro from Orangeburg County was charged with lottery fraud by SLED for allegedly defrauding the South Carolina Education Lottery. He used an activation code from a social media post to redeem multiple lottery tickets at Quick Pantry for $445 in cash winnings, without the ticket purchaser's consent. The case will be prosecuted by the 1st Circuit Solicitor's Office.
