Edward Kindt, a parolee who murdered and raped a Salamanca woman in 2000, was apprehended in Cattaraugus County after escaping from his supervised transitional housing in Dutchess County. Kindt, convicted for murdering Penny Brown, has twice violated his parole since his release by the Parole Board. State Sen. George Borrello and Assemblyman Joseph Giglio criticized Gov.
