India flight-tested an endo-atmospheric interceptor missile for its Phase-II BMD system.

India successfully flight-tested an endo-atmospheric interceptor missile as part of its Phase-II Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) system, demonstrating its capability to defend against hostile nuclear-capable missiles with a range of 5,000 km. The test met all its objectives, validating the network-centric warfare weapon system. The missile was launched from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur, Odisha.
