India tested the Agni-Prime ballistic missile with a 1,000-2,000 km range on 3rd April.
India successfully tested the new-generation nuclear capable Agni-Prime ballistic missile, with a strike range of 1,000 to 2,000 km, in a night trial from the Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha on 3rd April. This was the Agni-Prime's second pre-induction night trial, conducted by the tri-service Strategic Forces Command (SFC) and the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The test met all trial objectives, confirming the missile's reliable performance.
