India conducts successful 2.5 km test of indigenous man-portable anti-tank guided missile, bringing it closer to Indian Army trials.
India has successfully completed another test of its indigenous man-portable anti-tank guided missile (MP-ATGM) with a 2.5 km strike range, bringing the weapon system closer to final user trials by the Indian Army. The fire-and-forget MP-ATGM is equipped with day/night and top attack capabilities to penetrate modern armored tanks, and has been field-evaluated in various flight configurations with the objective of proving the technology.
