Alpine F1 team is close to a technical partnership with Mercedes, set to include engine, gearbox, and suspension, potentially starting from 2025. Alpine has been considering the costs versus benefits of continuing to invest in its own Renault works engine, with new advisor Flavio Briatore advocating for a customer engine deal. Mercedes has emerged as the only manufacturer being considered for this partnership.
