3 people, including two teenagers from Inverness County, died and three others, all from Utah, were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 19 in Mabou, Nova Scotia early on Saturday morning. The collision involved a car and a pickup truck traveling in opposite directions. The driver and passenger of the car died at the scene, while the 71-year-old Utah man who was a passenger in the pickup truck died after being transported to a hospital with serious injuries. The ongoing investigation is being conducted with assistance from the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service.
