3 people, including a 54-year-old Indian Island First Nation man, a 51-year-old Upper Rexton man, and a 25-year-old Halifax woman, died in Shediac, N.B., after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 132 on May 24. The vehicle veered off the road and plunged down a 100-foot embankment, landing on its roof. An RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting with the investigation, and an autopsy is scheduled to determine the driver's cause of death.
