2 excessive speeders were caught by Kelowna RCMP on July 16 in separate areas of the city. One driver was clocked at 106 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on Springfield Road, and another on Highway 33 driving 108 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. Both drivers had their vehicles impounded for 7 days and issued $368 speeding tickets, with the possibility of further penalties from ICBC.
