390 tickets and warnings issued to Kelowna drivers during BC's 'Slow Down, Move Over' campaign.
During a province-wide 'Slow Down, Move Over' campaign, Kelowna drivers received the most tickets and warnings in BC, with 390 infractions. Over 2,100 tickets and warnings were issued across the province, and a fine of $173 can be imposed for not adhering to the rule. On March 15th, Kelowna's traffic officers issued 58 violations, with 44 for using electronic devices while driving and 12 in a school zone.
