In a four-day operation in early November, the Kelowna RCMP issued 45 tickets for school zone speeding violations, with one driver caught at 69 km/h in a 30 km/h zone. Additionally, four vehicles were impounded for speeding outside school zones, including one at 108 km/h in a 60 km/h zone and another at 105 km/h in a 60 km/h section of Highway 33. Authorities emphasized that such high-risk behaviors will not be tolerated.
