1.5GW pumped storage hydro project application submitted by ILI Group for Balliemeanoch in Argyll and Bute, UK.

Intelligent Land Investments Group (ILI Group) submitted a 1.5GW pumped storage hydro project planning application to the Scottish Government in Argyll and Bute, UK. The Balliemeanoch PSH project aims to enhance the UK's renewable energy infrastructure, powering 4.5M homes and reducing carbon emissions by 200M tonnes over its lifetime. If approved and completed in 2031, Balliemeanoch will be one of Europe's largest pumped storage hydro projects.
