30 passengers safely evacuate burning BMTC bus on Bengaluru's MG Road; no injuries reported.
30 passengers narrowly escaped a burning BMTC bus on Bengaluru's MG Road. The bus caught fire near Anil Kumble Circle at around 9am. The fire was initially observed in the engine compartment, suspected to be caused by engine overheating. The conductor used the bus's onboard fire extinguisher until fire tenders arrived. All passengers were safely disembarked, and no injuries were reported.
