A Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) low-floor bus carrying 50 passengers caught fire in east Delhi's Jagatpuri area on August 29. The fire, suspected to be caused by a short circuit in the bus's air conditioning system, was quickly extinguished by three fire tenders, resulting in no injuries and all passengers being rescued safely. Traffic congestion occurred at the Jagatpuri traffic light due to the incident.
