36 passengers on a private bus escape fire on Mumbai-Pune Expressway; suspected tyre burst cause.
36 passengers on a private bus had a narrow escape when the vehicle caught fire on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Vadgaon Maval on Saturday morning. The bus was on its way from Mumbai to Kolhapur and a tyre burst is suspected to have caused the fire. No casualties have been reported as all passengers and the driver were able to get down in time. The fire started due to a suspected tyre burst.
