NSW Health trials body cameras in nine hospitals for staff safety and deter violence.
NSW Health is trialling body cameras for hospital staff to boost safety and deter violence in nine hospitals. Up to 300 body cameras will be in operation across NSW hospitals to test their effectiveness for security staff, and potentially collect evidence for prosecutions. Privacy and security processes will be put in place for the trial's commencement. The trial will be independently evaluated once completed.
